HATE AMMO Parts Ways With Bassist, Announces Replacement
October 21, 2009HATE AMMO — the Umeå, Sweden-based band featuring members of NAGLFAR, ASSAILANT, LIVE ELEPHANT, THOSE WHO BRING THE TORTURE and BONE GNAWER — has parted ways with bassist Olov Norberg due to "personal issues" and has replaced him with Olov Jansén. According to the group, Jansén is "a guy here from our hometown, [with] his roots firmly planted in thrash metal."
Jansén will make his live debut with HATE AMMO on November 14 at Scharinska in Umeå.
HATE AMMO recently inked a deal with Mortal Music Inc., the label founded by SOIL bassist Tim King and TWELFTH GATE's Rob Such.
The group's forthcoming debut album, for which a release date has not yet been announced, will feature the following track listing:

HATE AMMO was scheduled to film a video last month with the Standard Street Team. More information will be made available soon.
HATE AMMO made its live debut on November 15, 2008 at Hamnmagasinet Metal Galaxy in the band's hometown.
